Antioxidants Keeping you from Self-Destructing

There are over one hundred body products, foods, vitamins, minerals, supplements and procedures that have high antioxidant properties. Antioxidants keep free radicals from destroying your body by donating an electron and quenching the free radical rendering it harmless. An antioxidant value of foods has been measured, the ORAC value.

A recent study showed that women taking a daily antioxidant supplement had measurably longer telomeres than the controls. This indicates a probability of a longer live.
